Day 29: Berlin, Germany

Rain, rain, rain.. no bike riding today. I ended up taking a half day walking tour which gave a great overview of Berlin’s history, and of course included visits to the Berlin wall, Holocaust memorial, and Checkpoint Charlie.

On the tour I met some great people and spent the afternoon with them in a pub. The place we were at had a self tap at each table and recorded how much was poured – the tables competed with each other and with similar pubs across Europe. I also managed to find some schnitzel and currywurst – not your typical curry!

  1. what was this place called?

I went to a place in Prague couple years ago that did the same thing, called Beer factory!
except it had delicious Pilsner Urquell!
