Day 34: Munich, Germany

image

I climbed a lot stairs at the St. Peter’s church in Munich to get this view, but it was well worth it.

Today I took a walking tour of the Dachau concentration camp. Needless to say it was quite an experience. Dachau was the first camp constructed and served as a model for all other concentration camps and a training site for SS personnel.

Afterwards I took some time out to rest, tried Goulash for dinner, and went on a late night museum crawl. Annually, Munich holds a late night museum festival where one ticket gives you entry to all of the cities museums and public transit from 7pm-2am.

  1. Sobs so pretty!! Well worth the climb indeed.
How was the Goulash? I haven’t had it before. And also what kind of museum did you go to?
Woah the late night museum festival sounds awesome. Is it a particular day or …?
